Blue Latitudes in Dover on TV Diner- CLICK HERE

(TV Diner) - Blue Latitudes in Dover, New Hampshire has one of the best martini lists we've come across, but how's the food? We're hungry!

Located in the lower square of Dover, New Hampshire, Blue Latitudes Bar & Grill is situated on the end of an historic millworks complex.

The two dining areas and a long bar with copper-topped high tables were packed with diners. The menu featured many choices of ethnic American cuisine.

For an opener, we had the Pagoda. We were shocked to see three FULL PLATE starter selections instead of the usual samplings on a single plate.

The Panko Crusted Parmesan Zucchini Sticks with horseradish-mayo dipping sauce, chicken lettuce wraps with Asian slaw, and deep fried crab cakes, with red pepper aioli. They all had the WOW factor.

Loaded with cheese, black olives, tomatoes, jalapenos, handmade salsa, sour cream and chips, the Ultimate Nachos were plenty satisfying and enough for at least four eaters!!

Rich gravy in the Beef Burgundy transformed steak tips and hearty vegetables, including herb mashed potatoes into a fulfilling and flavorful dish.

The Cedar Plank Salmon topped with a mix of brown sugar and whole grain mustard was fresh and tasty.

Desserts brought an extra chewy Chocolate Brownie Sundae. Creamy vanilla ice cream and thick hot chocolate sauce rolled around the brownie and whipped cream-all topped with a cherry! Incredible!

Marshmallow and mascarpone, filled the flaky baked crust of the shameless Chocolate Chip Calzone, surrounded by the same deep and dark chocolate sauce, ice cream and whipped cream. Talk about a no nonsense dessert!

Our server was great in spite of the restaurant being slammed. Prices and huge quantities pleased the wallet with appetizers five to twenty-four dollars, entrees seventeen to twenty-four dollars and desserts seven to ten dollars.

Blue Latitudes is a trendy eatery where daily specials add even more value to the expansive drink and food menus serving real good comfort food.

The servers are delightfully efficient in a no frills atmosphere that is noisy but fun. Overall, Blue Latitudes earns the Gold Plate.
