Slow Food Seacoast Presents "50-Mile Thanksgiving: Closer to Home" Print E-mail

On November 14th, Slow Food Seacoast will present their Thanksgiving event at South Church, the Unitarian Universalist Church in Portsmouth, NH.
The event begins with a potluck supper at 5 p.m., followed by a talk at 7 p.m. By Novella Carpenter, author of "Farm City: The Education of an Urban Farmer." Guests are invited to bring dishes to share featuring at least one ingredient raised locally. Supper seating is limited and reservations are required. Admission is $10 for adults, with children under 12 admitted free. Or, get in free by bringing a donation of food for a local food pantry.
